1969 first release on orange and maroon Atlantic records label. Bob Margoulef and Malcom Cecil were electronic keyboard players who helped popularise the use of synthesizers as a mainstream instrument. TONTO stands for "The Original New Timbral Orchestra", the first and largest, 'multitimbral polyphonic analog synthesizer' in the world, designed and constructed by Malcolm Cecil. Also known for their session and production collaborations with Stevie Wonder, this is an excellent example of early 'electronica'.
