Probably lesser known in the UK than in America, Havens was a great interpreter of other people's songs as well as being a fine songwritwer in his own right. A bluesy, jazzy, folky feel to all his music, 1983 was his most successful album both sides of the Atlantic. It includes versions of Beatles, Donovan and Dylan songs as well as his own compositions. Another of my all-time favourites, thhis is the original UK release with gatefold sleeve.
