I think Nik Kershaw is one of our best singer-songwriters. Part of the new wave pop era, this, his first album, incudes the hits 'Wouldn't It Be Good' and 'I Won't Let The Sun Go Down On Me'. If you haven't heard any other of his albums then I strongly recommend 'To Be Frank' (2001) and '15 Minutes' (1998); in my again totally overblown opinion 2 of the best 'pop' records of the last 40 years.
