I think Nik Kershaw is one of our best singer-songwriters. Part of the new wave pop era and if you haven't heard any other of his albums then I strongly recommend 'To Be Frank' (2001) and '15 Minutes' (1998); in my again totally overblown opinion 2 of the best 'pop' records of the last 40 years.
