Magnum Opus from ex-10cc duo. A concept album, it involves a play, with all of the characters voiced by British comedian Peter Cook, and singing by Sarah Vaughan. Poorly received at the time, Kevin Godley stills feels the album is flawed but he and Lol Creme stand by what they produced. As a huge fan of 10cc I had to have this and there are parts that are really good but, as many critics at the time also said, I feel it was somewhat self-indulgent; but then as I've said before, what do I or music critics actually know? This collector's item is the original UK release - a triple album boxed set that includes the original booklet and lyric sheet record sleeves.
