Brazillian jazz pianist/keyboardist Eumir Deodato had a hit with his jazz version of Richard Strauss' Also Sprach Zarathustra (well the first movement anyway and basically because the classical version was used as one of the main themes for Stanley Kubrick's '2001 A Space Odyssey'). Really good modern jazz from a great musician (if you already know and like this then check out 'Deodato 2' - I only have it on CD). This is the original UK release with gatefold sleeve.
