Album named after the early medieval Welsh poet, Taliesin, and I think that's where any connection remains; unless of course you agree that Deep Purple were poets (not a bad analogy at that really). Additionally it contains 3 tracks written by great musical 'poets' of the time, Lennon & McCartney, Neil Diamond (yes that ND) and the Spector/Barry/Greenwich song writing team. This is the original UK release with gatefold sleeve. PS I just love the 'File under Pop Groups' on the back... those were the days :-)
