Unashamedly, I have always loved Bacharach. Usually classified as 'Pop' and 'Easy listening', in an old interview he objected to being called 'easy' as there are usually some complex or unexpected chord changes which sets him apart from many other 'Brill Building' residents (obviously not Goffin & King or Neil Diamond).
